Public data artifacts
Everything below is static, free to fetch, and keyed by a hospital's CMS Certification Number (CCN, 6 digits, zero-padded). Source: CMS Healthcare Cost Report Information System (HCRIS), updated quarterly.
/data/ccn-urls.json: maps every CCN to its canonical profile URL (/hospitals/{ccn}/{name}/{city}/{state}).
/data/search-index.json: slim index of all hospitals: name, city, state, slug, ccn.
/data/metrics/{ccn}.json: per-hospital metric series (beds, occupancy, census, ALOS, discharges, days, revenue, square footage, procedure rooms, net income) by reporting year.
/data/csv/{ccn}.csv: the same metrics as a tabular CSV, one row per metric, one column per year.
Free metrics: names and definitions of the measures in those files.
/data/isochrones/{ccn}.json: 10/20/30-minute drive-time polygons (GeoJSON) around the hospital.
/data/meta.json: data vintage. Cost report data last updated September 18, 2026; latest reporting year in the metrics 2026.
/sitemap.xml: all indexable pages. /llms.txt: this information in agent-readable form.
